HURRAH, IT’S CHRISTMAS!
AND MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.
Members of Ian’s canoe club were out on a Christmas paddle last Sunday. This has become a yearly event with them now. When they saw me with the camera they asked me to take their picture. And I did and emailed it to Ian so those who wanted a copy could easily get it.
You may ask, how I happened at the right place and at the right time. Denise (my daughter and Ian’s wife) phoned me to say they would be in the Sliema Ferries area and I got there just in time.
We had a lovely Christmas Eve last night: first 6.00pm mass with the our children and their families ( we don’t go to midnight mass because of the kids) and then to my house to celebrate. Santa Claus came too.
Joke: Do you know what would have happened if there had been Three Wise WOMEN instead of Three Wise MEN?
The WOMEN would have:
- Asked directions, - Arrived on time,
- Helped deliver the baby,
- Cleaned the stable,
- Made a casserole, and
- Brought practical gifts (like diapers!)
