ESCAPE ROUTE

Escape route to hell or to heaven? Or better, the escape route of the Von Trapp family of The Sound of Music fame.
I am convinced that all of you have seen the film at least once in your lifetime. I have, many years ago and do not remember the location. But this cemetery was the place where the scene of the escape of the Von Trapp family through the convent’s cemetery was filmed. The place is Salzburg in Austria and the tombs in this small cemetery which still belong to vip families in Salzburg are immaculately kept.

Great collage! I have watched that movie many times and remember the scene well! Of course- in the movie, it's later in the year so the flowers are absent- but the view of the crypts is very close!
