On 6th August (one week ago) the village of Lija (pron: lee-ya) celebrated the feast of its parish dedicated to Our Saviour.
On the eve of the festa –like any other parish – there was the fireworks spectacle. Having been a long time from watching them, we decided to go and watch from a distance close to Naxxar.
This is a combination of three of the hundreds of shots I took. I used the tripod after many months but I enjoyed the results I had.
Lija has one of the best fireworks factories on the Island. They have competed with other international factories and have won many honours. More shots to follow.
Thank you very much for looking and for all the comments and fav's on yesterday's post.
Three beautiful fires works greatly captured. Fav.
In our area you can go to, and on the fields. There are no barriers by wires. Only often surounded by a dith but ther are entrances (dams) for the farming machinery. Love this so I make no abuse/misuse from it. I try to avoid and damage.
