When I walked up the steep hill back to the castle courtyard and stopped panting from the fatigue, I found Christine waiting for me on a bench. I said to her: ‘ Wow! You missed it’. Remember, I said earlier, that she didn’t come with me to watch the show?

i do believe these two shots are even better than the last one you posted. the bird seems to be looking right at you in the lower shot and really like how we can see his tail feathers so clearly. fantastic collage. fav.
You have added some lovely in-flight captures to your project, Dione. Great timing and focusing. the light in these is particularly pleasing. I imagine the displays were wonderful to watch.
