Don’t you think I am right when you see this image?
The day before yesterday we had some good rain in the afternoon and when it subsided I said to myself “I must stay on the look out for the sunset colours”. I was at the time in my garage dressed in an old faded bermuda shorts and an equally old T-shirt and flip-flops trying to give some shape to all the accumulated objects scattered around. My garage serves me also as a workshop for my woodwork and other hobbies. At one time I liked the colours in the sky, ran upstairs where I keep my camera, shouted to Christine that I’m going out, got into the car dressed as I was and went searching for a vantage spot from where I could capture the sunset colours. I was in a hurry, traffic was on the roads and I was afraid I would miss it. In fact the pictures I took didn’t satisfy me and I was returning him a bit dissatisfied. As a last effort I took a detour and was driving in the opposite direction from where the sun was setting when I saw this amazing dramatic scene. I raced against time till I found a spot where I could park the car, got out and took some quick shots. This is the result of three of them merged together. The sun was setting to the right of the picture.
We are currently going through a storm with very strong winds, dark skies, rain and very rough sea. No waking up early today but I may try my luck with some rough sea shots.
Thank you so much for viewing and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
