We Maltese are people of the sun, so because of the wet weather I decided to take Max to the Mosta Rotunda where he (and I, too) could take as many shots as he liked inside this imposing building.
This is a merge of three shots that I took to show its beauty. The church is open to visitors all day long and hundreds of thousands come to visit every year.
The Rotunda is the Parish Church of Mosta and is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. It was built between 1833 and the 1860s. The church is completely round and its design is based on the Pantheon in Rome.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
