We visited the holy shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. In this collage:
Top left picture is Christine and me where the majestic square in front of the shrine begins.
Bottom right is a view of the square in the opposite direction from the front steps of the shrine
Other two pictures show the tombs of the three children who saw the Apparations – Lucia, Francesco and Giacintha. The last two died at a very tender age and were declared saints by Pope John Paul II, Lucia died when she was over 90 years of age a few years ago.
