3rd day of our Portugal holiday during the Easter period.
The town of Nazaré used to be known for its traditional costumes worn by the fishermen and their wives who wore a traditional headscarf and embroidered aprons over seven flannel skirts in different colours. These dresses can still occasionally be seen.
I have managed to see only one – the one in the picture. You can see skirts in different colours if you look closely. The lady had a variety of nuts for sale.
Posting from my tablet. The computer has crashed and my son-in-law advised me to buy a new one.
Many thanks for your views, birthday wishes, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
