WOULD YOU RIDE IN A COACH LIKE THIS?

5th day of our Portugal holiday of last Easter.

One place I wanted to visit in Lisbon was the coach museum. When we toured the city with the group on our first day we had no time to visit but I was determined to go somehow. I also wanted to visit the Jeronimo Monastery which we missed the other day because of the long queue. So the first half day free we had on this 5th day Christine and I took a taxi to the historical centre of Lisbon to go visit them. Another couple who showed interest came with us too.

This is one of the many beautiful coaches exhibited in the Museum. If you’re in Lisbon I suggest you go and visit because you will not regret it.

A beautiful coach. Bet it wouldn't be a comfortable ride, though. I have read that HM the Queen says that the royal coaches are very uncomfortable. Fav!! 😀
