We weren’t aware that there was a festival going on until we saw others and others, all elegantly dressed in traditional costumes. We got to know in the evening when we asked one lady who explained it all to us. In the morning, when we came out of the alcazar we had walked to the cathedral and we saw a couple coming out of the cathedral and she was dressed in a beautiful wedding dress and he in an officer’s uniform and thought that the people were dressed like that for the wedding.
