BALLUTAFEST

This last week-end was the turn of the parish church of Balluta – dedicated to Our Lady of Carmel to hold its annual traditional festa. The church is on the Sliema Waterfront facing the sea and not more than 500metres from where we meet our friends daily on Summer nights.

So, Saturday evening, the eve of the festa, I took the camera – and tripod – with me to take some shots of the fireworks – they were very disappointing. But I still took a couple of shots.
