Back to our Seville holiday album for a final three shots to end the series. This is the first.
I consider this as the best, or at least one of the best, of all the shots I have ever taken. It is a merge of 4 shots I took with my camera hand held and which merged together perfectly without my intervention. It shows the Seville bullring, the second oldest bullring in all Spain. The oldest is in Ronda which I visited last year and have shown a picture of it, too. I must convince myself to go and watch a bullfight one day even if I’m not sure I would like the cruelty the bulls go through.
We had passed close to this bullring in previous days but we never considered visiting. On this last day my brother-in-law said “Shall we go in”and I replied “Not interested really” having been to the Ronda one the previous year “but if you wish to, let’s go.” And I don’t regret it.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated. This weekend is the turn of my village San Gwann to celebrate it's annual festa. But I will, probably, I will not be going to watch and take pictures.
This is an absolutely awesome capture. Well done Dione. It saddens me however to think that it is still used for bull fights. I can’t imagine anything more cruel.
A fantastic shot and the way you were able to put it altogether! Stunning! I wish it was used for something different. I believe in Ferdinand the Bull, not barbaric bullfighting! I do not understand the people that want to do this or watch this?!? Fav for your image.
Well done. Absolutely a fav.🙂
I was three times so lucky. Twice a dragon- and once a butterfly. Will show them all.
