I don’t know what these flowers are called but they really captured my attention when a few days ago I went to feed my son’s pet bunny while he and his family where in Gozo for the weekend.
This weekend was the feast of San Gwann parish. It had been forecast that torrential thunderstorms would hit the Island during the weekend. They did with a vengeance, but San Gwann was barely hit by the storms, just a few rain drops. However it didn’t fail to disrupt the festa because outside celebrations with a procession of the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was cancelled with many local people very disappointed. I had said that I live at the periphery of the village and the feast is of no particular interest to me but, notwithstanding my saying that I wouldn’t be taking pictures of the event, I still went to take a few shots which I have to upload on the computer. Maybe I will post a few shots in the coming days.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
