This shot was taken when Max and I reached the topmost walkable part of the valley. The water looked calm here and I liked the peaceful scene on the water.
However, no sooner we arrived there, we had to start back because rain was beginning to fall, even though it wasn’t forecasted. I increased my pace and Max followed while the rainfall increased in density. Luckily I had brought with us two umbrellas which sheltered at least our heads (and cameras) from the rain. When we were still one-third of the way from where I had my car, A man in a covered jeep stopped and offered us a lift for the rest of the way. He was a godsend and I couldn’t find words enough to thank him.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
A lovely capture. I love all the shades of green. Why is that it always starts to rain when we’re at the furthest point from the car 😁. I guess this contributed towards the muddy boots 😁.
Weather can be so interestingly unpredictable! It looks like such a warm and sunny day- perfect for a walk. And how nice of that man to give you a ride. Sometimes "angels" come in surprising packages! (No I don't think he was an angel- but his kindness was quite heavenly!)
