Fourth day of our Barcelona holiday we decided to go visit Parc Guell, another masterpiece of Gaudi’s architecture. It wasn’t planned and we had not booked online; after a trip on the underground train and a steep climb we found that our turn to enter the parc would have us wait for 3-4 hours so we gave it a miss. We were however rewarded for our labours on our way back down to the underground station from another rout when we saw this lovely shrine dedicated to San José de la Montaña. There was mass being said at the time of our visit so we had to be careful not to disturb the faithful.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
So lucky to see this, it’s all so beautiful & at a time when religious places are targeted by terrorists it’s a lovely place to see for freedom to worship however & wherever you wish.
