YOU NAME HIM

Another bird I captured through my kitchen window a few days after the fly catcher. Another new bird for me. Any clue what kind of bird he is?

Lovely shot of this pretty bird. He looks a bit like our Fiscal flycatcher, but missing the white stripe under the eye. Lovely bokeh.

Have looked in our book of British Birds & the closest I could find is a Pied Flycatcher male.

He’s definitely a male pied flycatcher. No relation to the spotted flycatcher you posted a couple of days ago.
