STARLINGS by sangwann

STARLINGS

Second day in Ireland – 19th July, 2019.
Could these be Starlings? They came in a flock on the electricity lines where the bird I showed yesterday had been a few minutes earlier. I managed a few shots before they suddenly vanished the way they came. Today I have learnt that a flock of starlings is called a murmuration.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and fav’s. They are very much appreciated.
They all seem to have dark heads which is not like a starling in our country. Be interested in other's views!

It must be the nursery of starlings because some of them are very young

Cool capture of all these birds on the wire. I like the soft hazy green countryside in the background.
