FESTA TAL-KARMNU by sangwann

FESTA TAL-KARMNU

Feast of Balluta parish church dedicated to Our Lady of Carmel.
A short break from posting photos of our Ireland holiday to show some of those I took on the occasion of the above feast which took place Sunday before last.
This is a merge of three shots taken from the parvis of the Balluta parish church.
Last Sunday it was the feast of San Gwann parish church dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes where I live but I didn’t take any shots and I wasn’t close by during the festivities. Next Sunday will be the feast of Stella Maris in Sliema where I lived for most of my childhood until I got married. I am planning to go and take some shots of the fireworks.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs. Always much appreciated.
