Ireland – fifth day of our holiday (22th July, 2019).
We arrived at Trallee, our lodging for the rest of the holiday. Trallee is a town close to Kilarney. It rained all night – so they say because I didn’t hear anything - but we woke to a sunny-looking day, breakfast and straight to Muckross House. We decided to visit the vast estate but not the house itself because our plan for the rest of the day was to do the Ring of Kerry. You could spend the whole day touring the Muckross estate alone and you wouldn’t have seen it all.
So here is a picture of Muckross.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and fav's. Always much appreciated.
Ahh - a lovely image - dear to my heart Dione - many of my relatives come from this area. It's a wonderful image of a wonderful estate - it must have been a joy to wander around. :)
Its a wonderful place Dione, we have been many times, in my will my ashes are to be scattered up on the Ring of Kerry, hope this is a long time off...fav
Ha ha I’ve been in here too! We went round the house but not the grounds! A beautiful place it is too! The Ring of Kerry is a must....we did all this last year! A jaunting car ride in Kilarney is good too! The guys doing the rides can be very entertaining too....there is one called Jeremiah who is a real character!
