At last I have finished looking through and editing the pictures of the first day of our Rome holiday. It was Christine and me and my sister, Mary Grace and her husband, Joe. We had a great time and we walked miles and miles, apart from the buses, undergrounds and trains that we rode on. My sister calculated that altogether we walked for approximately 120,000 paces according to an app. on her mobile .
I always choose to have a window seat and the pictures in this collage show why.
These are four shots I took as we flew over Malta:
Top left – St Paul’s Islands – have shown pictures of them as we walked the coastline.
Top right – Salini – a bay taken over by big salt pans constructed during the ‘reign’ of the Knights of St John and Malta.
Bottom left – Xemxija Bay
Bottom right – my preferred, is Comino the third largest of the Maltese Islands and a paradise for snorkelers. The light blue patch is the Blue Lagoon which attracts hundreds of thousands of holiday-makers in Summer. Behind Comino begins Gozo.
Thank you very much for your looks, comments and fav's.
