TILL NEXT YEAR

This is my last dahlia flower saying ‘good bye’ to all my friends . ‘See you next Spring ‘ (probably not because bulbs very rarely survive for more than one year nowadays). Shot taken two months ago but forgotten in the camera.

I have a friend in NZ who grows lots of dahlias but she amazed me by telling me she lifted every bulb & stored them inside out of the frost. I admired her diligence. A lovely last burst from this beautiful glowing flower. Dahlias must love the sun in Malta!
