GUM TREE? by sangwann

GUM TREE?

I have seen trees with beautiful coloured trunks on 365 and when I saw this tree i guessed it was one of them. There were others at Chadwick Lakes but I took shots of this one which attracted my attention most. Can anyone confirm or not my guess?
Thank you so much for your looks, your comments and fav's. 1st October already, what a year this has been till now!
It does look like a eucalyptus tree indeed, especially with the peeling bark. Mine is doing that now and the leaf shape looks right.

Is a gum tree another name for a Eucalyptus tree? We don’t tend to use the name gum tree so just wondered!
The colours are exceptionally beautiful.

I got this from a 365 follower. Dit help me several times.
The online plant identifier I use is https://identify.plantnet.org/ You can choose a plant category or world region, upload your photo and decide if you want to identify it by flower, fruit, bark or leaves and then click identify. It then gives results with a score out of 5 which tells how confident it is in those results. It seems to be fairly reliable.
