POOR MIQUEL ANGEL LOPEZ MORENO

Was going to post more shots from Chadwick Lakes but had to post this.
Yesterday was the first stage of the Giro d'Italia and I never miss watching this race (also the Tour de France) The first stage was a short Time trial. Lopez Moreno was almost at the end of his race when his bike came across either a bump or a dip in the road, he lost control and crashed into the guardrail. So sad he finished in hospital though later I read he was not seriously hurt but had to retire from continue the race.
This is a serious of shots I took with my mobile when I reversed the scene to see it again.

Oh no! Poor guy! Fortunately he is not seriously injured, but it is still a bummer that he cannot continue.

I saw this on TV, but couldn't work out what had happened to him. It was a spectacular crash. Good news that he isn't badly hurt. A nice series of photos.

Heartbreaking for him....So vulnerable on a bike & you can go from first to last at the slip of a tyre! Relieved he wasn’t badly injured!
