The long one-hour walk starting from Baħar Iċ-Ċagħaq at last got me to Madliena Watch Tower. In the picture on the left, if you look closely, I was preceded by a couple with their dog, otherwise there was nobody around. Some of you may remember I set myself on a project to make a collection of pictures of all the watch towers (those still standing) that surround and at one time were built to guard our country from pirates or from any enemy that might have decided to invade our country.
Today is my buddy's 10th birthday, Max. We celebrated the event yesterday with his parents and my son's family at my daughter's home. In other times a party for his friends would have been organised but not this year.
