I stopped on the rocky edge of the cliffs to check if I could go down to sea level to but there was no way I could do that but I still longed to descent there and walk along the edge of dry land along this part of the cliffs.
I was very happy yesterday. Finally I picked up some courage to go to one of the big hotels around St George’s Bay, go to reception and ask to see a watchtower that had been encircled by the hotel complex when it was built. I had seen it at least two decades ago when I attended a C.O.G.E.M. conference related to my work. I had been avoiding going because of Covid 19 and had promised myself that I woud go after my first injection. The hotel was empty of tourists and the concierge was very helpful, accompanied me to the tower and allowed me to stay there as long as I liked and take as many pictures as I wanted. And that was the last of the watch towers that I had to photograph to complete the series.
And the walk continues.
Many thanks for your visits, for your kind comments and for all the fav's. - always very much appreciated.
Happy to hear that you have your watchtower series complete!
