And this is where the descent took me – to a place where I wanted to go and did not know how to get there. That is the joy of exploring. After taking some shots, I started my gruesome way back up the about 2 km uphill and then to retrace my steps back to the car.
I took the shot of the view with my Nikon and the selfie with my mobile. I then layered the latter to the other for my memory book (which is only in my mind).
And the this picture gave me fresh strength to walk back, this time without hardly a stop at all. Still got a final shot to post tomorrow.

Such an amazing capture of these wonderful rock formations, textures and lines. I suppose you must have been exhausted when you got back to your car. Clever to put your selfie in the corner.
