blue beyond

These hills are known as the Five Sisters of Kintail. They looked magnificent in their snow coats as we headed for home yesterday.
There was more snow today......there and here!
Today I spent the day at a Food Hygiene course. It was a long day but the presenter was quite entertaining which helped, and lots of useful information. Hoping I passed the 'exam' at the end so we can do lots of making and baking with the children at school.
Three good things
1. Boots and waterproofs ......though my boots were letting in a bit in the slush on the way to school.
2. Long light day.......sunny even though -5 outdoors just now.
3. Roast chicken for tea.
Stunning.

I went on a food hygiene course years ago, you might remember the certificate on my wall. We all had to take it if we did volunteer work in the village hall. A beautiful view & these mountains have a lovely name.

Lord willing- Scotland in 2019! Signed up for a photo course there and hopefully I'll stay a little longer when it's done and trace my family roots. I'll keep you posted! Such a lovely scene!
