Home again safely.....I always feel grateful to be home and tonight Allan was driving as he'd been in Orkney with a couple of former colleagues for the weekend.
But it was a good weekend with Mum and lovely sunny day. She has a remarkable capacity to remain grateful for even the smallest things we do and she has so many people to phone so rarely feels alone.
Early to bed after some nibbles left over in the fridge and brought from the north.
Three good things
1. Good traffic flow all the way home.
2. Found my Fitbit beside the bed....I was afraid I had lost it on Friday
3. Lots of lovely flowers survived the wind and rain here at the end of last week. Particularly love this lavender. This was Connor's favourite the first summer he came to stay. 8 more sleeps and he will be back along with his wee brother and Mum and Dad 😄😄😄😄
