Perfect end to a week at school.
And Allan is cooking again.....no complaints from me.
We have a special celebration meal around the 18th September which was the date he was rushed to hospital three years years ago. Thankfully he made a complete recovery relatively quickly but it changes the way you look at life and appreciate people and events more than ever.
Perhaps I should have posted a photo of him in the kitchen!!!
Three good things
1.Steak from the local butcher
2. Feeling warm
3. New heated airer.... 'Dry Soon'....arrived from Lakeland. Our boiler is so efficient it no longer heats the utility room where washing dried overnight in past years.
No wasted heat then, a good thing in reality but a warm utility room is a blessing in so many ways! Yes you learn to not take life for granted when you get a scare like that! Pot plants are the new 'in' thing apparently...Lydia is obsessed with them!
