We had a lovely wee outing to Pennan on Sunday. It's on the north east coast and very small. Just one street along the front and the little cottages get quite a battering in stormy weather. But the tide was out further than we had ever seen it. The very steep narrow road down into the village was quite busy....we met cars going down and coming back up!
The little hotel is closed in January and February so must go again in a few weeks.
If you saw the film 'Local Hero' (a long time ago!! ) a lot of it was set in Pennan.
Three good things
1. Time to chill
2. Tidy up gently.....therapy!
3. Left overs for dinner.
Thank you for your lovely comments. It's quite a favourite with us though very tiny really. Lots of the houses are holiday homes so can be lively in the summer months.
