So nice to see that the little daffodils I planted in the autumn have grown rather nicely. Dad would have been delighted.....funny the times you feel the gap.
Today was mum's birthday. She is now 92! Awesome lady.
We had a lovely day. Brother Archie arrived from the north, sister Kate arrived from the west and we had a delightful lunch together at a new restaurant/cafe a short drive away. It was a rather miserable drizzly day but we hardly noticed as we were enjoying the outing.
Three good things
1. Mum.....she is absolutely the best!
2. Catch up time.
3. Cards, phone calls, visits and a lovely evening with a warm fire.

We are very blessed to have such lovely times and Mum was clearly delighted with the whole day. She had lovely chats with grandchildren and great granddaughter on the phone. She has 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and loves to keep in touch.....all over the world!
