We were invited on Saturday to a Birthday Meal for a friend who had been too busy to have it in the summer....better late than never and his three grandchildren were all able to enjoy it with him.
He never goes far without some 'pandrops' in his pocket - likes to suck a mint from time to time šš.
So after an awesome dinner he had this cake to cut. We might have had a party bag to take a slice home as most of us were rather full to manage cake. I don't think I have ever eaten blue icing....can't be good for hyperactive kind of people....but it did get the right effects for the packet of mint sweets.
Three good things
1. A lovely get together with people we hadn't seen for some time.
2. Delicious food....the Sticky Toffee Pudding had fudge icecream served with it and I loved it!! Must remember the next time I make it!!!!
3. Took the car though only a mile away but good as it was POURING rain when we left for home.
