Sarah and Baby Neil Robert got home from hospital last night so we drove into Aberdeen today.
Neil is so tiny, though 8lb 3oz when he was born. All my babies were over 8lb but I'd forgotten how little that was!!
He slept almost all the time and we're so pleased he is a local baby and not an 'international baby' like his three cousins!!!
Three good things
1. Jonathan is so delighted to be a dad!!!
2. Photos....lots taken!
3. Coffee catch ups arranged for the week ahead. 😊😊
Your new grandson hasn’t a wrinkle on him Sallie, gorgeous wee boy…welcome baby Neil. You will be able to watch this one grow much more closely but all so precious.
What a delight, Sarah! Baby Neil is gorgeous and how pleased you must be to hold him, and for him not to be 'international'! My first born was an 'international' and under 5lbs. I had no idea how small she was. My mum was so horrified by the photo I sent her that she got on a flight to Singapore to come and make sure she was ok! No. 2 was an 8-lber though and born in Aberdeen, so no special treatment there! Ha ha. It's lovely thinking back to those days, and I suppose being a grandma must make you think back to all those special moments with your own children! Enjoy every minute.
@jamibann Thank you Issi. It is bringing back many memories for sure. Of course digital photos hadn't reached us when The B Team were babies but the photos we have are precious.
I can't imagine such a tiny baby as your daughter but she's grown into such a lovely and adventurous young woman.
8lb-ers have a good start in life and all are so unique!!

@sarah19 Yes, we must. Once dad's house has finally 'gone' I will have more time. I't would be lovely to meet you - especially as we live so close. We must make it happen. September! Let's try.
