I met a friend for lunch and a walk in Inverurie, catching up on 'my old school' news, and enjoying the sunshine. We walked by the railway line and just opposite I spotted the scarecrow, and realised how much more was going on. We don't have anything like this in our little town....yet, though there are moves to introduce community garden groups. It was a joy to see.
Three good things.
1. A very slow start to my day. The few days in classrooms have really knocked my usual routine, but I guess I'll adjust!
2. Sunlight and warmth....not like summer but no bitter wind.
3. Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner. I haven't made it for a while but we did enjoy it, and used lots of items from the fridge!!
