These clouds were full of snow (on Monday) at Nairn but at least it was calm. Today has been very windy - here in the north east we didn't get too much of the gales hitting further south.
I loved the way there was the tiny edge of the rainbow just at the sea line. And there's an oil rig - serviced in the Cromarty Firth close by - as well as a couple of boats.

I think it's an offshore oil service ship - there is so much oil related activity in the North East of Scotland! @mrssmith What would the world be without little bits of rainbows! @happypat Didn't actually notice the rig until I looked at the photo on computer. But we had been curious about it's lights at night looking across the firth. @lornareid@wordpixman@sunnygreenwood

Wonderful juxtaposition of weather! Light falling on the oil rig, rainbow on the horizon and nasty clouds full of winter white hanging overhead! Great catch!!
