Manchester Art Gallery

I went along to Manchester Art Gallery today, to have another look at the fabulous Anish Kapoor exhibition. The gallery attendants were far too eagle-eyed for me to take any pictures of the exhibits, so I took this of the sunshine in the atrium instead!
I love all the different angles and lines :).

This is great! I always end up getting told off by the gallery attendants in places like this.

Sarah, I really like images where you have to point the camera up, because they show us things we rarely see. Nice blues contrasting the girders

These techy style buildings are cool and your photo has made this one into a real piece of abstract art; nice one!

@cgould I didn't even risk being caught by the attendants this time!!

@dulciknit @kidatheart @pennymilner Thanks - I've only just spotted that I managed to catch a person coming down the stairs, in and amongst all the angles and metal!

@phil_howcroft yup, I like taking photos looking up!

ha I did the same thing over the weekend, liked his bright red sculptures, also got pictures of steps and the doric columns outside, not as good as this though!

@chewyteeth Thanks, Dave - I think I like his 'void' and metallic ones best. I'd love to see some of his massive outdoor installations, too!
