I paid a visit today to the Sketch-o-matic booth, which is a fab live art installation in the Cornerhouse in Manchester. It's like a photobooth, but where the machinery should be, there's an artist, in a teeny artist studio, who does a quick sketch (or cartoon, or poem, or collage) of you through the one-way mirror, and posts it out through the slot 5 minutes later!!

@phil_howcroft@dulciknit Ah, I'm not so sure .. it's a pretty faint pencil sketch .. and it was more about the experience than the picture itself .. there again, it might be the best idea I have for a photo .. I'll see what tomorrow brings! Love the reminder of Terry Pratchett's imps, Alison :o)
