modern highrises

I remember when this building was going up (in midtown Manhattan). This hasn't been edited and is simply how the buildings look. Love the colors and angles! Progress cannot be stopped and old buildings are constantly being torn down to make way for new ones. I enjoy the contrast between the old and the new (hoping to show some of "Old New York" in the future). I just hope they don't destroy all of Old New York. This building (which looks like two, but they're actually connected) is delightful to look at though.

It's fascinating, Sarah. I love the uniqueness. And I agree with you concerning the old buildings. My gracious, it would just be horrible if many of thoseo wonderful old buildings were torn down. They have so much more character than the new ones. My eyes don't know where to go first when I'm walking the streets of Manhatten ... the architecture makes my spirit fly.

Very cool shot. Looks like an abstract graphic design.
