I just discovered an app that lets me trigger my camera remotely from my phone! Maybe I can get in the picture more often now. :)
(Considering how silly my three ring circus was at this point in the evening, I'm pleased we got one decent shot. The outtakes involved sisters pulling hair and giving bunny ears.)
@dianachaplin Honestly, I was thisclose to posting that one because it was super funny, but my oldest (the hair puller) asked me not to. When I post photos of the older kids here I ask their permission first, in the hopes that it will encourage them to be mindful and respectful when posting photos of their friends on social media when they're older. (Who knows if it will help, but it can't hurt, right?) But yeah, the hair pulling one is getting printed for posterity! :)
What a darling photo of you and your family! What an excellent idea to treat your children with respect by asking them if you should post a particular photo! What a good lesson, and hopefully it takes!
