The kids were all sitting down to bowls of cereal when we saw this out the window.
I left the ten year old in charge, grabbed the camera and my boots, and walked to the corner to get a less obstructed view of this glorious sunrise. (No worries, the corner is less than 150' from my front door.)
Gloves might also have been a good thing to bring, considering we hadn't even hit 10ºF yet...
@dianachaplin I know - this was definitely one of the more spectacular sunrises lately. This morning I'm pretty sure the sun rose...at least, it's not dark anymore...but it's so gray and dreary out there. Sigh.
