I can't keep the kid out of the dirt. Every time he goes outside he scoops up handfuls of soil and plops them in the pumpkin we carved. Before the pumpkin, he'd find the nearest puddle and mix it into mud. And throw leaves and rocks in for good measure.
I always thought the "boy: a noise with dirt on it" signs were dumb. I mean, my girls liked to play in the dirt too, it's not just a boy thing. But now? Now I get it. Dirt is serious business for this boy.
