Following the trend that's been scrolling through my feed ( @amandal, @kwind, @chewstories ...and others I'm sure I've missed!) I decided to put together my "best of" from last year. I tried at first to pick one per month, but some months I didn't even love at all (February, I'm mainly looking at you) and some of the later months I had more than one that really pulled at me. So, my project, my rules, these are the 16 that jumped out at me most while reviewing the last year.
I think I like taking pictures of people best. And I guess I kind of have a thing for greens, blues and black & white...
@jasperc I'm not sure - I feel pretty happy with most of what I posted throughout the year, although most of my early "good" shots were happy accidents, and now I feel like I'm better at deliberately getting "good" shots, if that makes sense? (Good being subjective, there are some amazing photographers on here who are leagues better than I will ever be!) And I was surprised at some of the shots that stood out to me in the calendar view for each month, I definitely left some personal favorites on the cutting room floor for different shots that spoke to me now.
Wonderful collage! I enjoyed looking through all these shots because I just recently started following your project and didn't see most of these. The umbrella photo definitely stands out for me because of the colors . . . you have some lovely family shots. :-)
