We have a book called "Where is the Green Sheep", and throughout the book you can find all sorts of sheep: the up sheep, the down sheep, the band sheep, the clown sheep. There's also the scared sheep who doesn't want to go up the tall diving board ladder, and then there's the brave sheep, standing poised to dive off the diving board.
Anna is my brave sheep today. Last week she needed pool noodles, an instructor to catch her, and a whole lot of coaxing to go off the diving board into the 12 foot deep end.
Today she's jumping off, surfacing, and then swimming all by herself back to the ladder to get out and do it again! That's my tiny, brave sheep on the end of the diving board.
