Poor little guy was up half the night congested and coughing...in my bed, which meant *I* was up half the night too.
So when the alarm went off just a couple of hours after we were both finally soundly asleep, I hit the snooze button and tried to snuggle him for a few more precious minutes...and he was all like "no, mommy. my bed. I want to go back to my bed."
OK, fine. No rest or snuggles for a tired mama.
I got up, took care of the dog, got the biggest kid out the door to school, went back up to his room to check on him, and he was sleeping like this.
Apparently his rocking ottoman is more comfortable than mommy's arms. Sigh.
