Today I went for a job interview for a promotion. I went out and bought myself a new suit and grown up shoes (aka closed in heels).with the adage in mind - "dress for the job you want, not the job you have."So finished the interview, got home and couldn't wait to get it all off and into my normal clothes... which left me thinking - gosh I hope they don't want me to dress like this all the time.
Good luck with the promotion! Absolutely love the tones and crop and setup of your photo! The plant beside you and the texture of wood add a nice touch!
Your position shows how much more relaxed you are now that you have "your style" clothes back on. When and I'm not saying if you get the promotion I'm sure you'll find your own nice but comfortable fashion statement.
As one who lived for years in the corporate world complete with the corporate wardrobe, you can do it if you have to. You can always be you after hours. Now that I'm retired, I have nightmares about those corporate clothes. Hope you got the job - if you wanted it - and if not, hope you found something better that you are totally thrilled with.
