Windy day

This Painted Lady kept trying to show me her beautiful wings but the wind kept closing them. Then I saw the underneath side was also very pretty and took the shot

Well that sure is gorgeous! I love those false eyes, and your focus is perfect, Terry! The yellow flowers are so sunshiny cheerful. This one is a fave for me.

Really beautiful capture, Terry. Fav. for me, too; especially as we don't see lots of butterflies from you. Very nicely done.

@lauriehiggins I was in Sara's classroom today and the kids were quick to show me your letter and where you were from on the map, they got such a kick out of knowing something that I didn't.

@sarasdadandmom Well, I didn't know the name off the top of my head, but I did know it wasn't a Monarch or a Viceroy- they're both orange with black ribbing.

Beautiful shot Terry!!! It makes me think that when it comes to humans, we should also look for the "other side" ....sometimes we see only what we like or even worse ...what we do not like in them!!
