Saw some lovely motives yesterday in the forest, but since I had to fight my phobia of ticks (nasty little bloodsuckers that spread encephalitis) while shooting, then all the shots were a little shaky :p So here are some catkins in sunset taken after calming down a little :D
Didn't adjust any colours - the sun did all that :)
So, I'll have another go in the forest soon using some tick repellent - all the things one has to include to her photo kit! Also considering to pack a picnic blanket for crawling and wellies naturally and sausage to bribe some barking dogs and someone suggested a ladder for high angles ...
Any more suggestions?
LOL! I have a bigger fear of poisonous snakes than ticks, myself! I have to keep a constant lookout for them around here, too. I like your catkin shot! Love the light and what it did to the tips! Excellent DOF. Nice textures and tones. Great job!
@marlboromaam Thank you!
We only have one poisonous snake in here, and the ticks are considered the most dangerous animal these corners. I know we have it good really :)
The DOF is actually the result of low light, low ISO, but I do have kind of shallow DOF period...
