When Winter Attacks by sassyinthecity

When Winter Attacks

photo 404
Breaking news from the Midwest...and pretty much everywhere else in the US at this point....Winter is trying to kill us!!!!!! Personally, I believe it has been plotting this for years. I know many of you might say, "Sara, it is just Winter. What evidence do you have that it is trying to KILL us?'

Well, I am glad you asked. Exhibit A. Top left and Bottom Middle - Icicles everywhere and Icicles are pointy. Pointy objects can...Kill you.
Exhibit B. Bottom Left - Fallen limbs in our backyard. Fallen limbs brought down by Ice. Falling limbs not only knock out power but if they fall on your head it can....Kill you.
Exhibit C. Top Middle - Our ice filled gutters. Ice filled gutters get heavy and then they break and land on your head...and Kill you.
Exhibit D. Top and Bottom Right - Police officers scraping thick layers of ice off their vehicles on Tuesday. Come on the systematic icing of emergency vehicles? That is an obvious attempt to keep the people who protect the community from protecting us! No protection so that Winter can...that's right...Kill you.

So there you have it and air tight, open and shut case. Winter is trying to kill us! The prosecution rests!

It is a known fact that the perfect unsolved crime is stabbing someone with an icicle, which subsequently melts thereby removing all evidence of the weapon.

@manek43509 Thanks, Kit! I have no health insurance so I am staying indoors an off the 3 inches of ice on the ground. =)
@allie912 I knew that and I knew you would support my theory. Any good mystery lover would agree with me. =)

Wow! So much snow and ice for you guys! Is this a bad time to tell you that it was sunny and 55 degrees here today? ;) That said, I'd LOVE some snow!

I always liked winter. I never looked at it like that though...

Since you cannot prove intent, it would have to be dropped to involuntary manslaughter.

You might have missed your calling in teaching. I'm thinking you'd be a great attorney! I live in Minnesota. Winter has been trying to kill me for years. Once, it got very close. Great shots!

@sarasdadandmom It is my plan to prove intent beyond a reasonable doubt. Taking out the police cars at the beginning of the storm is going to look pretty suspicious to a jury...not to mention the natural human prejudice against freezing our butts off for months on end. It might be a tough case but I think I can swing it. =)

@nana I would have loved to! As it stands I have a law and order degree from watching so many law and order marathons. =)

@wormentude It tries to make you like it with the pretty snow and awesome sweaters but then...it lowers the boom.

@hcochrane I would love to have it be 55 here and would be happy to switch places with you. We are getting 2 inches of snow tomorrow.

Sara, I love that you have a degree in law and order! Mine is in Naval Crime Scene Investigations from watching NCIS! We'd be such a great team!
