Apparently, two for three dollar bread with an approaching snow storm is quite popular. Do people really shut themselves in and eat bread all day long when it snows ;-).
Reminds me of the last week of pregnancy when suddenly I had to have everything ready just in case, as though I would be in the hospital for weeks instead of hours.
They may be like me...hate driving in the snow and cannot always count on the road crews in our neighborhood with hills at both exits to make the travel down the hill to a busy street a safe one.
lmao our shelves always look the same and I never understood it. We got 40" of snow last year and were plowed out in 24 hours. It isn't like we are going to be stuck in our houses for a week!! Great shot.
We do that in the South because we are not used to driving in snow and ice and prefer and are advised to stay safely at home. With this severe ice storm we are currently experiencing, there probably isn't a loaf of bread left at Kroger. We have not had power for almost 14 hrs and the worse is not here yet. It may be days before we have power again and for some maybe a week. Thankful for a generator.
Ha. When we finally got out of our house to the grocery store, it was hard to get our hands on bananas. We all need fruit (in addition to bread), I guess.
