My shadow...

My get pushed challenge:

☠northy ace - How about a high contrast black and white shot?
Northy this is not my best, but at least I tried. I took my husband outside and took this photo with my cell phone, while sitting on a chair.
This is great! The graduated tones of the light are wonderful and the overall composition has a nice bit of edge to it... Really nice response to your challenge :)

Nice to meet your husband even if it's only as a shadow.

@happypat Pat this was my shadow. I am looking after him when outside. He still can walk but tend to go to the street/road and wonder off. You do have to watch him at the swimming pool to. It is like looking after a toddler. There is a photo of him. I just cant remember the date. It was a double exposure on a get pushed challenge.

@sdutoit oh thanks Sylvia, I couldn't just tell who it was. Must be hard for you but hoping things will get easier for you when you both adjust.

I see - you were in the chair taking a photo of your shadow! It must have lovely bright sun to get such a good contrast!

Lovely shadow. I hope your life will settle when your husband is in a care home. My step father had Alzheimer's and Mum had a dreadful time with him before he went into care. She had to lock the doors because he was always 'escaping' and getting lost. She used to put labels on his clothes when she dressed him in the mornings saying "If lost please return to ......" Luckily he was brought home by the police on a few occasions. She found it much less stressful once he was in an aged care home.

This is a grat response to the challenge northy gave you. Very well done.

@onewing Babs Thanks for sharing. Alzheimers is a awful disease for the family. There is no cure and it is bad to see ones brain dying part -part. This last three weeks will be bad saying bye.... and know there is no return. Hope things will sort themselves and a better life for both of us. May he will be much more happy where he is among people of his kind. For the last three months I am taking him there for the morning for him to know the place and the people. Then there is still ones conscience.....
